Material List:

Hook: 254 or 253 Eagle Claw size 3/0 to 5/0

Soft Hackled Streamers for Salt Water: Bugster

Tail: A small amount of orange and red bucktail fairly long, tied to surround the hook shank; next, take two of the black metallic feathers from the tail of a rooster and cut the stem about an inch from the tip to give the feathers the appearance of a claw. Tie them in alongside of the bucktail with the curve of the feathers facing outward, one feather to each side. Next, take a goodly amount of long blue bucktail and form a collar around the claws extending back, then tie in two strands of red mylar on either side of the hook.

Body: Take a black marabou feather, tie in the tip, double it and wind a collar of four tight turns. Palmer the shank of the hook fairly tightly with one of the black metallic tail feathers starting with the tip. Wing: One whole olive marabou feather tied in flat.
