Length: Squid grow to over twelve inches
Hook: 254 or 253 Eagle Claw all sizes
Thread: Orange
Platform: Bucktail, orange and blue
Pillow: Dubbing, yellow
Support: Yellow neck hackle tied curve or dull side up
Tail: First, a silver doctor blue saddle; second, 2 red Flashabou; third, a fire orange saddle; fourth, 2 emerald green Flashabou; fifth, a fire orange saddle; sixth, 2 gold Flashabou; seventh, a long, wide fiery brown saddle or neck hackle; eighth, 2 blue Flashabou
Body: Light violet body braid
Wing: Fire orange saddle under light violet saddle
Collar: Bucktail, orange tied to flare slightly
Cheeks: Bucktail, 5 hairs each, turquoise, chartreuse, and yellow
Eyes: Jungle cock
