Hook: 254 or 253 Eagle Claw all sizes
Thread: Chartreuse
Platform: Bucktail, fluorescent yellow
Pillow: Dubbing, yellow
Support: Chartreuse neck hackle
Tail: First, white saddle; second, 2 strips of silver Flashabou; third, chartreuse saddle; fourth, 2 strips of gold Flashabou; fifth, fluorescent yellow saddle
Body: Silver or pearl Mylar braid
Collar: Bucktail- bottom, fluorescent white; sides, fluorescent yellow
Wing: Bucktail, chartreuse
Cheeks: Bucktail, 3 hairs turquoise, 3 hairs violet
Eyes: Jungle cock

This fly is red hot on the flats that have a yellowish green tint to the water right now and on flats on cloudy days or with a riffled surface. Four inches seems about the right length. Try larger sizes for deeper water, say five feet or more.
