Subject: Cove behind Restaurant at Potters Pond

I was thrown out of the marsh area behind the restauant at Potters Pond today by the owner of the restaurant. Granted, I was parked in his (empty) parking lot and he has all the right in the world to not let me park there. However, I got into a bit of a conversation with him and was informed by him that the marsh land below belongs to him as well and is private property as well. I wasn't going to argue eith him, but I question that...I always thought that this was public land, but private access...anyone know more about this particular site?
