Subject: This is bizzare!

The old stone bridge at Tiverton is closed to fishing and that does not make any sense except to shut it off to subsistence fishermen. What the heck is this all about? The same is true at the state pier at the bay campus and that is elitist if nothing else. They need a more socially conscious director over there.
It seems there is a Liaises Fare (sp) attitude towards the town and state regulators and 'their'
arbitrary regulations that target the substance fisher people and shutts them off from easy access to fishing in places they can be noticed and resented bu ;ocal residents is becoming the states de-facto public access policy. The state is supposed to enforce the access laws not ignore them and there is always Quanny breachway?

What is going to happen and when are they going to stop those residents from stopping people walking down the Breachway and using the historical rights of way to the beach?

IT is a political thing I am sure and then there is Green hill... Night fishing is effectively shut down and has been for way too long. NO hindrance is allowed and no restriction, Maybe we need the state police to do this instead of other agencies.
