The set-up was a small to med. single yellow egg fly, with a 4 lbs. tippet length of 18 inches at the knot two small shots, then the remaining 11 Ft of tapered leader, at about the 4 Ft. mark a strike indicator. the only line used was a floating line with an interchangeable head but I only used the float tip all day.
The way we were fishing that day was to cast up river into the white water and do a very natural dead drift with a few mends. but the big difference was...I found to set the hook on every "ROCK" it really pays off.
I can't wait until get back up there with my Kenny Rod!!
