That tying two wet flies on as a dropper rig is best dome with th3e tail fly being attached to the head fly at the bend. I think the hydraulics hinder the first fly from being taken even if the fish tries to take it. I think that when they do get it it is an accident.
I see no hydraulic problem with a dry and a wet dropper attached to the bend.
