trout rivers/streams in RI or SE CT?

Subject: trout rivers/streams in RI or SE CT?

I have a summer vacation planned for New Hampshire, at a cabin right on the Pemigewasset River (Lincoln area) and I hear it's good trout/salmon fishing.

I want to learn to flyfish with nymphs and dry flies. I am a fly beginner, learning in saltwater with streamer-type flies. The one time I tried a nymph in fresh water wasn't very productive - not that I have caught any fish in salt yet either...

My questions: where might there be a good trout stream 'round here that I can play in? and does Tuesday night fishing ever happen in fresh water?
