I would advise you to get the book "Trout streams of southern New England" by Tom Fuller. There's plenty of good trout streams in RI/CT. I don't know where you are, but the wood river is good (probably the best river in RI), the moosup etc. Too many to name really. I've been having good luck in the Blackstone. Very fly-fish friendly, fish eager to take dries, and nice size fish too. People generally fish below the dams in Albion and Ashton.
