I have been down to the Farmington several times in the past few weeks. The weather has been very odd, with fog forming on the water for most of the day. But there have been fish rising to sulphers in the afternoons -- more I hear in the evenings. I've picked up a couple of fish on nymphs as well. The tiny Needhami's are supposively getting going in the mornings which is suppose to be a great small fly hatch (~#26). I hope to get out early next week and try to catch it. The Farmington fishes well all through August. They do a good job at keeping the flows stable, and the temps stay in the low 60s all summer.
