I am going to try out the old (wet fly nymph) dropper loops systems that Bergman illustrated in his book trout.
The knots are interesting and mechanically useful and perhaps the invisabilityy factor that we were all brought up to believe in is not as important as we have thought. The mechanics are cool and they used to work so why would they not work just as well now?
Fooling around with trout is a lot of endless fun.
