Frank and Ken thank you both for your replys. IT is encouraging to hear that you can make contact with these remarkable fish in the mid to upper water column. Frank are you catching Salmon with this method or "just" steelhead? I just might add my 6 weight to the arsenal this weekend and see if I can generate some success with the approach you mentioned. Thanks again.
