I fished up there for a half day in November with a local retired fellow who used a spey rod and unweighted tiny yarn flies 12-16 and enough split shot to be on the bottom. It was nymphing without an indicator on a just barely tight line. He covered lots of water with a spey rod. Must ahve had a great sensitivty for his flies and been a excellent mender. Great guy. He taught me how to spey cast and I spent the rest of the trip practicing!
