That 50% number is a wonderful thing. It used to be about 99%.
The casting trance is weakening. IT is so obviously bogus as you point out.

Amazing what a self image that is based on self depreciation can do to someone and a whole group for that matter.

They would rather cling to the idea that they are not good enough to cast rather than see the obvious dysfunction in the method and the equipment.

I guess it is too scary to see clearly when your friends might not like what you are telling them.

The emperor wore no clothes.

Over and over again all the time, every time.

Thank God for the wisdom in tradition. It gives you a place to see clear thinking.
