Those start at the end of April when the fish are stacked up at the ocean mist in Matunick. April 23 is the norm. Yu can use a sinking line there adn do well with it the water lends itself to the use of sinking lines at that spot in spring.
Little fly jigs work well too.

That is the surf then we will go to a river and fish smart.

Come to the trying and bring your rods we will let you try allkinds of lines until you find the perfect one for each of them.
THe traditional way of course. By just casting them and not trusting in the silly label.
Plus you can learn how to tie flies for yurself too. Everything on tuesdays is free including casting lessons..
