Funny you should mention grease lining,I had a good chuckle to myself today at work, during break I was thumbing through the new flyfishing in saltwater magazine,I came across an article about spring time stripers and where to find them and how to fish for them. One of the methods mentioned was to find fast moving water where the stripers will be on station feeding similar to trout, and use a 350 -400 grain sinking line to swing the flys over to where the fish are holding ,the author states and I quote " this is called grease lining" .I hope this was an honest mistake ,that maybe he got his terminology mixed up, it would be real sad if this is a so called expert and this is the crap their putting out there.
