Do people ever stop and think why shooting heads seem to cast like rockets compared to their full lines,and it has little to do with the mono or new speacialty running lines available today. Has'nt always been the rule to (here I go again showing my age)make shooting heads from 2 or 3 line weights heavier than what the rod is "labeled for" ?So why do people scoff at the meer thought of using heavier wt full lines on their rods?
