Hi John, I have the fly silicone floatant in the small bottles with some success. May be the equivelent of what Nick is doing with the spray. The othere thing that has worked is a rag with a bit of Armourall (sp?) on it. You can carry this in a baggie and use it on the water. Only concern I heard of was about the UV protection coating on the line, but that don't matter if you are not out in the sun. Plus I don't see why Armourall would not have a UV protectant in it anyways if you are supposed to put it on your dashboard. Can't think of anything that sees more sun than that. The Armourall seems to clean and coat at the same time to some degree. Bob Huddy
