What it means is when the bullet hits; it picks them up and lifts them off the ground and moves them backwards severel feet.
Kind of like what the right grain weiight on your rod will do for you. Pull the trigger once and the fly goes where you want it to. Traditional casting has its advantages. I - honestly - do not know what the advantages of underlined high line speed casting are? IT is awkward looking, inefficient, difficult adn you have to take lessons adn still... Nothing much happens that is helpful for fishing.
Perhaps some kind of pecking order status but that goes out the window when some newbe comes along with a balanced rod and line and can cast further and more gracefull with only one backcast.
Hey, why shoot the messenger when that is just the truth of it?
