Got to agree with him on casting and fishing. When I was in college one Spring I helped a good friend get into fishing while he was on leave from the Air Force. Our motto was, "there's got to be a trout in there" wherever we saw a likely looking spot. I told him to somehow get the flies to the spot and after he caught a few fish he realized that he didn't have to cast pretttly. We had a deal - I provided the flies, he put gas in my car. win win deal. Of course, back then, a dollar's worth of gas lasted the weekend.
