Cast some rods that were from Japan and they were rods that are sold here but...
The actions were quite different even though they were the same rods I have cast that were made for the American Market so...
IT would seem that the manufacturers are not selling only one type of rod worldwide but cater to the norms of the country that they are sold in which would mean that the actions sold here are based on marketing of fast action rather than the right action. There is no right action it would seem even though most people have been told that fast is better even though it is not better just popular and marketed as best here.
I cast both a Winston and a T&T that loaded with the line weight on the blank.
That is the first time I have had that happen but the rods were bought in Japan.
