John, I'm in Natick, and I usually head to the south shore for my fishing, but I'd love an excuse to fish north of the city, south of Maine, sometime.

Back to the line issue:

Do you have lines that you can chop up for sinking and floating tips? If so, then I think all you really need is the Skagit body. The whole multi-tip kit is pretty nice though, and I've found that all of those tips, and cheaters, and crap come in handy eventually.
