Seth, Thanks for your comments. I loved your last one about the overhand casting. On Sunday, I was throwing to some distant rocks and white water in to the wind. I have no idea how far it was, but until Sunday, it had been an incomprehensible distance. (I credit it to as you say, timing, a balanced rod/line, and some very good and patient help from Ken in the parking lot at the last Spey Day.)That was where the fish were. I've never been able to do that before in my life!
Now I just have to remember to use a fly with a sharp hook. Yes, it really does make a difference!
