OK. We are going to have one for sure.
What kind of event should we have?
A simple morning gathering or more of a "Happening".
An event or a murmur.
I would like it to be memorable and perhaps have it last more than a morning or a day.
Some fishing some casting some eating some trading of stories and tackle and a bit of a fisihing adventure to spice it up but...
Maybe a little home made music?
Any musicians out there who spey cast or fly cast?
Life is short.
We could celebrate being alive.
A morning would be fine too.
Any thoughts?
Is there a camping/picnic site close to the perfect fishing anyone can think of?
The cape is a great place after Labor day as is RI Quanny is cool although a litle tame but here will be fish moving at that time..
Charlestown has a great camping area right next to the breachway and Ninigret pond.
We could do Fri Sat and Sun and make it a three day event if anyone/several people want to do the co-ordinating or...
IT can be a low key get together.
It would be a memorable gathering if we want to make it one.
Any thoughts?
Please feel free to share them.
I think we can have some real fun doing this and I think we shold.
