When you go to Los Roques, you definitely need a license which your guide will help you purchase. Hopefully, you are staying at Posada Mediterraneo, where you will be fishing with Alex Gonzales or one of his guides. They are excellent and will show you where you can fish on you r own when you are not fishing with them. i have fished Madriskey, which is an island across from Gran Roque where most of the posadas take their guests for a day at the beach. There are lots of bonefish there which you can wade for. The website is www.posadamediterraneo.com
