Ok, here goes. I did all my homework and found a reel, checked the tide charts and put in for those vacation days my wife said I deserved for working so hard on the yard. I've polished up the kayak and tied a few flies. But there is something missing, something's just not there. Mother nature has done her part, the peep frogs are out, the herring run is in full swing and the shad are even climbing the ladders. All of these happenings are wonderful ways to welcome the month of May! Unfortunately I am a prisoner in my home waiting for a delivery. I got so excited the other day when I heard a disturbance in the street, I jumped off the couch to see who it was. All sorts of thoughts rushed through my head; Was it the UPS man, or the adorable FedEx delivery girl, or maybe even the DHL van? Nope none of those just the annual passing of the street sweeper!
