interesting parker, aside from the razzle dazzle, my box has yet to see such flies. but there is still room.
the razzle dazzle has been my fly of late. they are big and bright and fun to tie and add a certain degree of confidence to the presence i am offering. i hope that this is a phase, as i don't want to be hung up on these things forever, but as of now the razzle dazzle is king in my box.
and while tying these things, i have been trying to pay particular attention to the various colors of flash in each. for some reason i feel as though they are very important elements in the individual presence of a fly. providing the glimmer beneath the body. i have also come to view silver flash as a very good addition. have any go to combo's of flash? the books say that the primary colors "should" be present in a razzle dazzle, but sometimes i don't want to over do it.
