In Maine and Canada I have caught landlocked salmon, Brook Trout and Lake trout on the Footer Special.

It would certainly be worth trying on a saltwater hook and give it a shot for stripers.

For flounder, I have no pattern in mind but might try tying the Guinea hen feather flat- like a carapace on a GP with a light underbelly. That's a good question to get some experimentation going on this page.

Let's see what the imagination brings.
