Heard about the boy that picked up a 50+ stiper with a yak last summer (or the summer before) at Long Island I think.
I'm trying to imagine,,,,, what in the world would I do in that situation?
I've a small 12' sit-in and in the summer fish a spot that has a very good potential for 40+ stripers very near open water. (If) when hooked,,, what am I going to do with it to get it to the boat,,,, and then how to get it home (tail loop and drag)?
I see this getting ugly real easily.
Any suggestions on a game plan BEFORE I get into this? What would you do?
