Guys at the Jamiaca Bay tourney this past May were using them to good effect. They really make a difference in a wind and hands-free propulasion allows for a lot more fishing options. You still need a paddle if you want to go backwards - I guess they are working on a reverse gear mechanism :)

Very cool product!
