Subject: Tidal yakking

I've taken to putting my new RTM Tempo into a local bay and have
been trolling flies. Last night on an early incoming tide I had two flies
on. I scored my first double of bluefish. Tried to corral them for
dinner; nothing's better than fresh fish. However, they both escaped at
the boat. They were small but took me for a ride. It's not easy to
capture these kinds of fish in a kayak. Had a number of other hits but
these bruisers spit the hooks easily. On the last hit of the night my
leader came back without the fly. Even small (12") bluefish can slice
clean through 30 pound test mono. Time for wire!
Can anyone out there recommend a rod holder for the Tempo??
