You may need to be looking at a 14 to 16 foot yak. If you're going to be using it to move about, look seriously at a Sit on Top. MUCH! easier to get into and out of. be patient, in this economy, you ought to be able to find a used one at an attractive price.
Alamo is right, don't go too light or small. You'll regret it.
