Subject: Fishing the currents from a yak

I really enjoyed Ken's articles where he writes about fishing the
currents, using the greased line swing, mending etc, where one uses
the current to bring the fly to the fish rather than just dragging the fly
through the water. More like trout stream fly fishing. Would anyone
comment on this kind of fishing when fishing from a yak? Frankly, I
usually end up just trolling my fly when kayak fishing, because the fly
is in the water so much more. Unless the tide is really strong, I am not
paying much attention to the current. Obviously, the wind is a factor
when on a yak, because that is the direction you will go. It is hard for
me to give up trolling, as that is most effective for me, however I find
catching them on a casted fly is more fun.
