Subject: floating line for a St. Croix 9 weight |

I am excited about getting a floating line for better feel for what is
going on at the fly, and getting a heavier line for less back casting.
However I am not in the position to experiment with a bunch of lines to
find the right one. Any suggestions? I was thinking about getting an
11 weight, then read about how people can go even heavier which
made me think about a 12. Sounds like the Rio Outward bound is
sized heavier, which made me wonder if there is any way for finding
out the true weight of different lines. Thank you for any input.
