Subject: Trying to get a true 8wt rod.

Well it seems that because of the modern manufacturing practices you must under rod to get the line weight that you want. I'm building a 8wt rod for bonefishing and in doing my research I've found out that you have to make a 7wt rod to get a modern 8wtline load the rod. Kind of frustrating. And so it goes another marvel of the modern tackle industry. FishHawk
