The last issue of Saltwater Fly Fishing has an excellent article "The Match Game" by Ed Jaworowski, breaking down the fly rod sizes to how much weight should load them based on the AFTMA ratings. As usual Ed did a nice job of making his point. Odd that Ive been messing with fly rods for a few years and have not ran across this until now.
