yes; been there too. i just bought a 'light' rod; got a real good deal on a new '4-5 wt' IM6 9'. i put a WF6 on it to try it out and it didnt feel right so i tried a WF7 and it now cast like an auotmatic compared to a bolt action!--but i wanted a 5WT !
