I have the same problem, a year ago Ken used a good analogy of thinking of the fly rod as a swowd and keeping it close to my body and always "staying connected with the line". Ken you made it look easy and I have practice this technique and have improved. Also the demostration you showed me about setting the hook with a quick pull of my hand or by using the reel wiith a spinning rod or even a tuna setup has help me catch more fish. Very fundamental stuff and it has help me alot. It's funny when you watch guys on tv set the hook now that I know how to do it right.
