I fished a floating WF 10 twenty years ago for three
years out of neccesity. It was a discontined Orvis
complete with backing and was only $10.00. I
could not afford any more than that at the time. I'll
have to say that it gave me lots of pleasure being
the only salt water line I owned at the time. I
learned from trial and error how to fish it in shallow
and deeper water. I really miss the casting ease it
presented and have since gone back to the floater.
The few sinking lines I now own have short sinking
tips and a floating running line.
