When the current slowed the line stated fishing deeper is what I think you mean.

Fishing with sinking lines is fruitful for thinking fishermen.
Seeing that light come into someones eyes when they "Get it," is Hot Sh*t!
Most of the time you see a dull blank, nobody home HUH!

A twinkle in the eye of a fisherman is a sure sign of life.

Kids usually have it until it is beaten down into submission by those who are made uncomfortable by it.

My Dad protected that part of me for me and I am trully grateful to him for that.
