" At 30ft, the head weighs 420 grains and will load most #10 rods perfectly. For a lighter rod, such as a #8 rod, the head can be cut back to around 23 feet." Note they said the 420 grains will load MOST 10 rods.
Ken , I have to agree with you it's all about marketing and a quick way to make a buck. Fishermen are lazy and instead of making their own T14 line they will snap up the $60 line along with their $700 waders!!! FishHawk
