Sounds like I should do the same thing I did with my floater. I do see this subject on other boards but mostly I hear it from people talking at shops, fishing, etc. You guys are the only ones who I really hear recommending it and the majority of other people usually criticize overligning as overcompenstaing for poor casting technique. Personally, I never really cared what other people consider to be "the right way" of doing anything. I just do what works. I've noticed a marked improvement in casting since I got a heavier line. That's enough proof for me. To each his own I guess. And your right, at least people are talking about it now as a viable option even if it is met mostly with critisizm. Thanks for the help!
