I do have a favorite intermediate line.

IT is the old glass line by Airflow. IT casts like nothing else before or since.

It had a fiberglass core, hence the name glass line, and a hard plastic sheathing much harder than any line out there. It did not cast it took off and had no friction in the guides. IT was clear blue and if you See one buy it . Not because of fishing but for casting. It also floats for two days if you dress it with floatant.

Of course they took it off the market years agao.
It had a five year guarantee agansst wear. It was made out of polypropelene.

You do have to stertch it as it is wiry.
