I still haven't found stripers around my parts, so I'm mostly trout fishing in a tidal section. I did go out for stripers last night because sunset coincided with the beginning of outgoing current. I found a blue crab, couple (2) 2" silversides and many cupulating horseshoe crabs. No stripers.
