Subject: RLS Easterly

Since today's forecast called for 15-25mph east winds, last
night I tied up a couple of the RLS Easterly Ray's Fly variant. I
don't have any jungle cock, so I made them eyeless. Ugly fly
— in a beautiful sort of way.

Two hours of outgoing in sunlight was an exercise in futility.
The fish were glued to the bottom, and those with full sink
lines and Clousers did well.

I was hoping flood tide at dusk would be more productive for
me. I had taken off the Easterly in favor of a bunny Clouser,
and after I hooked a couple, I tied the Easterly backed on and
had at it with some schoolies. Fished until dark. It was fun. :-)
