I just came back from upstate New York and I wish I could have stayed longer.
The fish are in the rivers and moving up to spawn. I do not know how long it will last but the weather was great and the fish are there and the little creeks are not too high and ... Well it is wonderful fishing and worth the trip.
I stayed in Trappers Place in Pulaski and I am glad I did. It is kind of central to everything and inexpensive and I did not make a deal to give him publicity. I just want too. Orwell creek is full of fish and the main Salmon river is also but you may need a boat if the river is high.. Ellis flats is full of fish and they are hot.
You can contact him at TeresaYoung8@aol,com or by googling Trappers Place Centerville Road Pulaski N.Y.
I love steelhead. This is a great time of year to fish for them with a fly rod.
Lots of other rivers close by and no crowds. It you can make the time I would go in a hearbeat. Right now.
