Subject: Went fishing last night.

Wow - it had been awhile. Dec. was my last time out down here in MD
and so I finally stole a few hours and went to Kent Narrows. It was a
wonderful night. Spring weather with light wind and an outgoing tide
just after total dark. My muscles had to work back into the casting and
the line handling showed some rust. I caught a few fish and shared a
few words and some flies with a fellow fisherman.
The MD madness of Spring Trophy Rock Season is in full swing and the
trollers are working the bay like the commuters on any busy stretch of
I-95. Many fish have been caught, a lot of them big. For me the
quietness of Kent Narrows at night with only three other fisherman was
the way to go - it brought peace to me after a long winter with a lot
going on and even more on my mind. As an old buddy once said - "it
was time for an attitude adjustment", and three hours with a stick and
a string helped out quite a bit.
I will try and steal a bit more time....
