Stopped by Salisbury for an hour or so this evening. what a beautiful evening! No fish but still beautiful. Lots of birds on the water- almost like they know something is going to happen soon and they want to be ready.
Spoke with one bait fisherman who hadn't caught anything and two guys arriving as I was leaving. They said a local tackle shop owner had told them the fish were in.

It will be any day now on the Merrimack.
