Have been fishing pleasant bay between Chatham and Orleans for the last week. Surprising number of 30"+ bass for as early as it is. No blues yet. The best news is that the herring runs are back - well shy of the 1012 moratorium end-date. Lots, and lots of herring coming out of the ponds.
