The September Night is also a good Atlantic Herring imitation. They are staging right now and are about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches right now.
Good tail fly. The bass are definitely on them.
Little Alwives dropping out of the ponds a spot, Atlantic Herring coming into the ponds, no spot.
The herring are in the rips and along the beach too.
